Opposing Viewpoints and Topic for Life the Book

The health care debate doesn't affect my topic for Life the book. My topic relates more to ethical debates.

I feel neutral in the health care debate. Universal health care seems like a good idea but it might be too expensive.

I found it interesting how politics has managed to make its way into social networks on the internet. At first this article seemed like a review of the movie "The Social Network". A movie about Facebook doesn't seem very interesting.

Dying for Dixie

The main cause of Michael Westerman's death was he was flying a confederate flag out of his truck. Doing something such] as that would obviously be concidered offensive and would provoke hostility. In the article it is stated that Michael had acquired the flag from his family when he was very young. The article also makes it seem like he was raised in a racist environment. Michael Westerman was probably raised by racists and this eventually led to his death.
