6 Roma tomatoes
2 basil leaves
salt
olive oil
Recipe
good for 2 servings
Wash the tomatoes and basil leaves.
Then boil the tomatoes.
Next strain the tomatoes and remove the skin.
Place the tomatoes in a food processor.
Put the tomatoes, basil, leaves, and a table spoon of olive oil into a sauce pot.
add salt
Simmer on low.
add more salt
Place sauce on pasta and enjoy.
The herbs were grown in class when we were learning how to live more sustainably. The recipe tasted pretty good. I probably might have needed more basil though. By growing these herbs in class it saved some money. Having your own herb garden could save a lot of money.
YUMM! your pasta looks really delicious. I'd love to try to make it sometime. Your pictures had good lighting and this made it easy to tell what steps you were taking in the process of making your food. Good job and nice directions.
